Virtual Workshop with Artist Robin Holder: Exploring Identity Through Collage

Join us from the comfort and safety of your own home! Due to the pandemic, Robin Holder is not able to travel to Syracuse but we are delighted to offer this workshop virtually. Open to all, regardless of location. In this 90 minute workshop, Robin Holder will lead participants in the process of developing a collage using cut paper and drawing that expresses “Who We Are in the World.”  Before the workshop please reflect upon 3-5 essential aspects of your racial, cultural, religious, lifestyle, national identity and think of visual references that express your identity.

$10 registration fee (includes materials for local participants) Pay through the PayPal button and then ArtRage will register you on Zoom.

For local participants: Pick up your materials at ArtRage on Jan 5th -7th from 2-6pm or Saturday, Jan 8th from 12-4pm.  Please provide your own scissors.

If you are out of town or want to use your own materials you will need:

2-3 sheets of 12 x 18 colored paper (or 9 x 12) for the background 
5-8 pieces of various colors construction papers 9 x 12
a glue stick
2-3 sheets of any kind of 9 x 12 paper to sketch and develop ideas
a pencil (if possible a colored pencil)
a pair of scissors
