Presidental Impact on Refugee Resettlement

March 19, 2025 - 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM

Please join us for a panel discussion with staff from InterFaith Works’ Center for New Americans.

Refugee Resettlement has in many ways been the heartbeat within the Syracuse areas for several decades. The federal government has cancelled all refugee resettlement into the country indefinitely.  Join us for a discussion with Senior Volunteer Coordinator, Jennie Prouty  and Housing Manager, Mohamad Nassereddine about what this will mean for the City of Syracuse and the future of InterFaith Works. Learn how the organization is pivoting to continue to assist its current clients, how this relates to the issue of housing and how the community has been and can be involved.

This event is being organized In conjunction with ArtRage’s current exhibition, A PLACE TO CALL HOME: Photographs by Michelle Gabel & Mike Greenlar which explores Syracuse’s housing crisis.
