Celebrating Syracuse’s Young Filmmakers: Eli Mager, a graduate of the Nottingham High School is currently a senior at Syracuse University. Join him as he shares his short film about a Westcott Community Legend, Irvin. rvin is a short film that shares insights and experiences from a Westcott Community legend. The film explores the challenges Irvin has faced as an immigrant from Trinidad. Through several interviews stitched together with footage of their time working together, Eli and Irvin seek to understand each other, from their very different lives.

The film will be followed by a conversation with Eli and Irvin about the many complex issues raised in the film. Light refreshments will be provided.
