Join us for a reception honoring the students of Henninger High School who recently completed the photography project, Henninger High School: Inside Out.
In a project inspired by our exhibition “People Who Came to My House” Henninger High School students photographed and interviewed the non-teaching staff members of their school. These are the people who students often have little opportunity to interact with yet without them, the school would not run.
Students in Ms. Rombel’s and Ms. Lizzio’s art classes worked with teaching- artist and professional photographer Marilu Lopez-Fretts to create this exhibition.
This project is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by CNY Arts.
