Israel’s murderous assault on the Freedom Flotilla has made it clear that the status quo in the Middle East in unsustainable. There is increasing resistance within Palestine and around the world to the Apartheid state of Israel. In the US, hundreds of thousands of people have been organizing to defeat SB 1070—the Arizona law legalizing racial profiling– and all other racist and anti-immigrant legislation.

This event will provide presentations and discussions on:

• The Freedom Flotilla massacre: a turning point in the Middle East?
• Living in occupied Palestine: an eye-witness report
• An injury to one is an injury to all: defending immigrants rights.
