What better way to spend a Saturday night than with being with friends, looking at and buying art from your community and supporting ArtRage! Join famed Auctioneers Lanny Freshman and Rae Kramer as they put scads of Cheap artwork up for bid! Food, music and so much fun you’ll forget your name!

Come and view the artwork from 6 to 7pm. Pick out your favorites and get a bid number. The auction will start promptly at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you there. Bring a friend!

What is the Cheap Art Auction?

Inspired by Bread and Puppet’s WHY CHEAP ART? Manifesto, the Cheap Art Auction is a community event that celebrates the artist in all of us and encourages community members to make outrageous art out of any sort of materials, cheap, free and/or found! It celebrates that art is FOR all of us by auctioning off the art…for cheap; in a fun, community celebration. ArtRage is thrilled to be handed the Cheap Art Auction baton by Anita Welych, our current board member and former co-director of Altered Space.
