HARBOR GETAWAY RAFFLE!

• Set Sail on Henderson Harbor

You and a guest are invited to experience a 4-hour sail aboard the 30’ Cape Dory SV Saoirse. She will take you on a tour of Henderson Bay – considered the “Heart of the Golden Crescent” and throughout portions of eastern Lake Ontario. A picnic lunch will be served on board.

Discovered by French navigator Samuel de Champlain in 1615, Henderson Harbor is perhaps one of New York State’s best-kept secrets, just waiting to be rediscovered by outdoor enthusiasts of all kinds. Anglers enjoy the bountiful fishing, cyclists breeze down a main road where the speed limit for motorized vehicles is 25 miles an hour, making the thoroughfare as safe for them as for those who walk their dogs along the road’s edge. Sailboats, powerboats, and kayaks coexist peacefully on the water. Bird watchers travel from around the world to witness one of the best places in the Great Lakes to see migratory birds.” http://www.hendersonharborny.com
Sailing trip scheduled; Weather permitting. Provided by: SL Fine Woodworking, 501 Hawley Avenue, Syracuse, New York 13203. Contact Steven or Kim Linkinhoker @ 315.478.1361, or kimhandellink@verizon.net for arrangements.

Continue along the Seaway Trail heading north to Sackets Harbor. “Overlooking beautiful Lake Ontario, Sackets Harbor offers year round activities for the whole family. Sheltered on Black River Bay, the village is one of New York State’s Heritage Areas with exceptional historic attractions and beautifully tree-lined streets. The entire town provides an opportunity to discover a unique history, charming architecture, and a variety of activities.” http://www.sacketsharborny.com
