Mixed Media Memoir – A Collage Workshop

Led by teaching-artist Sandra Fioramonti-Sabene, participants will create their own visual memoir through the art of collage. Using the exhibition by Syracuse photographer, Paul Pearce as inspiration, participants will create memoir masterpieces using their own photos, images, drawings and layered paint and matt medium gel.  Participants will reflect on the moments, items and places that have had impact on them as they collage their memoir.

About the instructor: Sandra Fioramonti-Sabene runs the gallery and private art school, the Liverpool Art Center in Liverpool, NY. She works in all 2 dimensional mediums; oils, acrylics, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, collage and much more. She describes her work as an experiential blend of arts and healing.
