SALT award winning actress Carmen Viviano-Crafts will perform her solo cabaret accompanied by Jeff Unaitis. Special guest singer to be announced, with more surprises in store. Come for a fun evening of musical theater, folk songs, laughter, heartbreak, and a little neurosis too! Admission is free, donations welcomed. Reservations are REQUIRED.

Appetizers and desserts will be served Cabaret Style so bring an appetite!

Plan ahead to come celebrate the end of winter and help ArtRage at the same time. All of the entertainment and refreshments are donated which means that your entire contribution (of any amount) is tax deductible and goes directly to fund the work of the ArtRage Gallery.

Seating is limited so reservations are a must.

Carmen Viviano-Crafts is a published narrator of over 30 children’s books for Full Cast Audio, including some of the most important characters in contemporary Young Adult fantasy: Daine in all four books of Tamora Pierce’s IMMORTALS QUARTET, Tris in some of Pierce’s CIRCLE OF MAGIC books, and she was the first Cara in Bruce Coville UNICORN CHRONICLES series. A two-time Syracuse Area Live Theatre (SALT) award winning actress, Carmen will be performing this solo cabaret accompanied by Jeff Unaitis with special guest singers.

Jeff Unaitis is Executive Director of the Onondaga County Bar Association. Prior to that, he was spokesman for Time Warner Cable in Central New York for nearly 20 years. He is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and is currently a member of the ArtRage Board of Directors. Jeff has been playing piano since the age of 5, and keeps his musical chops fresh by performing occasionally with local community theatre groups and for worthwhile community fundraising events!

Dana Sovocool is a regular performer in the Syracuse area and a 4-time Syracuse Area Live Theater (SALT) Award winner. He has been on a self-imposed hiatus from performing for the past couple of years as he focused on being a new father. He’s grateful to Carmen & Jeff for this opportunity to return to the stage in support of ArtRage.

Leah Piorkowski has been playing guitar for fun for many years. She also studied classical guitar at OCC in 2005. She has recently earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling from SUNY Oswego and is currently pursuing an advanced certificate in behavioral forensics. She is passionate about pursuing a career in the mental health field, all things musical and above all being a mother to her 5 year old son.

No tickets or admission fee required
but donations will be collected during the performance.
