This free, public workshop will cover how solar works, and will tell you how you can save money with a bulk purchasing program. This will be a great opportunity to meet the chosen solar installers for Onondaga County, and community solar experts will be on hand to answer all your questions about whether solar energy is right for your home or business. Learn about other ways to save money and save energy, and how to take advantage of state and federal tax credits, subsidies and low-interest financing available for reducing your energy use and producing your own electricity.

Solarize CNY is a grassroots community solar initiative serving the counties of Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Onondaga and Oswego. The program is available for both residential and commercial buildings, and we will be offering both direct purchase and leasing options.

Attendees are  encouraged to bring a recent energy bill.
