Israel v. Israel ~ A film about Israeli Peace Activists

October 12, 2014 - 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

This screening takes place on Indigenous Peoples Day. It’s only fitting since Palestinians are indigenous people and subject to euro-u.s. colonization.  Israel v. Israel is the winner of Public Liberties and Human Rights Award among others. It is an  Al Jazeera Documentary by Terje Carlesson,  focusing on  Jewish Peace Activists who face skepticism and criticism from their fellow Israeli citizens.  They are a Rabbi, a soldier, a grandmother and an anarchist – who share a common goal: to achieve peace in the Middle East and end the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories.

Sponsored by Working for a Just Peace in Israel & Palestine, a project of the Syracuse Peace Council.
