Gaza: Still Alive Film Screening

July 29, 2019 - 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Join us for a screening of the documentary “Gaza: Still Alive” as part of the Justice for Palestine committee’s No Way to Treat a Child Campaign.

The documentary reveals the mental health catastrophe among Palestinians in the impoverished Gaza Strip, amid ongoing war trauma and after a decade of isolation from the world. The vast majority of children suffer from PTSD. This is the story of Gazans’ immense invisible suffering, through the eyes of ordinary civilians and the psychologists tasked with supporting them against all odds.

There will be a short introduction to summarize and distinguish the ongoing crises for children under Israeli occupation in the West Bank and in the 10+ years of blockade and siege of Gaza that has created unlivable and rapidly declining conditions.

This event is free to the public and sponsored by Justice for Palestine a committee of the Syracuse Peace Council. SHARE ON FACEBOOK
