Issues raised in the last year have put Democratic Socialism on the political agenda. How has the movement evolved? Where do we take it now?

Dan La Botz is an activist, blogger, writer, and teacher. He writes for New Politics, the Nation, and Jacobin. Co-founder of Teamsters for a Democratic Union, Dan is a member of Solidarity, and DSA and ran for US Senate on the Socialist Party.

Howie Hawkins is active in the Green & Socialist parties. Hawkins is a Teamster and a long-time ecosocialist. He ran for Governor, Mayor and other local offices on the Green Party.

Craig Olmsted is a unionized health care worker and supported Bernie Sanders’ campaign. An anarcho-socialist, Craig participates in Syracuse Jacobin Reading Group and CNY Reds.

Ursula Rozum is an eco-socialist activist working for health rights at Campaign for New York Health. Ursula is active in the Syracuse Peace Council and she ran a strong campaign for Congress as the Green Party candidate in 2012.
