Marylen Serna Salinas, a rural community organizer from Cajibio, Colombia, is returning to Central New York to speak about our Cajibio-Syracuse-Cortland-Ithaca Sister Community and how for the last ten years we’ve learned from each other and struggled together for peace and social justice in our communities. Marylen has much to share about the community cooperatives and women’s cooperatives that promote rural empowerment in Cajibio.
