An Emmy-winning filmmaker, Joseph C. Stillman, will present a “work in progress” feature documentary showing of Citizen Clark: A Life of Principle, the story of former U.S. Attorney General and Human Rights activist Ramsey Clark. The film is a chronological look at Clark’s national and international commitment to justice, peace and human rights issues.

Clark’s work in the Justice Department with John & Robert Kennedy, LBJ, Martin Luther King, Civil Rights, the turbulent 1960’s, his run for the 1974 U.S. Senate race in New York, and U.S. interventions throughout the world will be shown.

Individuals like Noam Chomsky, Ralph Nader, Mark Green, UN General Assembly President Miguel d’Escoto Brockman and other journalists, politicians and human rights advocates are featured in the film.

Attorney Joe Heath will introduce the documentary and Oneonta filmmaker Joseph C. Stillman, who will be present and will discuss his eleven-year relationship with Clark and the challenges of making a large, comprehensive international project. Syracuse resident Nancy Roberts narrates the film.
