Jeffrey Gorney is a freelance photographer and writer in Syracuse with a background in film. He has been involved in curating and programming film series and writing film copy for: Syracuse International Film Festival, Symphony Space (New York), HBO, Cinemax, Films in Review, Warner Books, Random House, SU Press, and others. For his independent short, Cecelia in the Looking Glass, Jeffrey won a Mobil Film Award, and he is the recipient of a 20th Century Fox Fellowship for Excellence in Screenwriting. His work as an art director can be seen in such films as Ripe Strawberries and Love in Vain. He is the author, and contributing photographer, of Syracuse University: An Architectural Guide.
