Internship Opportunities

ArtRage Gallery seeks students interested in art for cultural change, non-profit administration or non-profit fundraising for student internships. Interns will work with the two part-time gallery staff and assist in day-to-day operation of the organization and in some cases work on special projects related to one’s interest or experience. Currently, internships are unpaid but we are happy to work with schools and universities to ensure interns receive proper school credit, if applicable. We are currently accepting applications. We are looking for volunteers to help us with the following needs. If you can help, please get in touch.

• Database entry (both program set-up & updating on a continuing basis)
• Distribution of promotional materials
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Coordinate small fundraisers
• Assist with fundraising events (posting flyers, e-mail announcements, calendar postings, etc.)
• Gallery sitting, phone answering, store staffing
• Help plan opening receptions
• Making food for opening receptions “Baking Brigade”
• Grant research
• Grant writing
• Maintaining the physical space, i.e., planting, cleaning after openings, set-up and breakdown for events
• Marketing
• IT (tech) abilities
• Help hang and strike exhibits
• Tabling at festivals, etc.
• Spreading the word through e-mails and phoning
• Selling program ads for events
• Producing a monthly on-line newsletter
